Afterimage explores the inner city as a place distorted by time, motion and memory, where people and structures appear to occupy several moments at once. The city feels simultaneously crowded and empty, defined by a tension between physical proximity and emotional distance.
Using long exposures and intentional camera movement, the photographs record duration rather than isolated instants. What remains is neither a fixed document nor a complete memory, but a shifting impression of an environment continually forming and disappearing.
